A Moment from Our Journey
The Carnivore Experiment in Hoi An
We’ve been in Hoi An for a week now. And we love it. The people. The culture. The balance between great food and deep tranquility (if you stay outside the Old Town).
We reunited with old friends, made new ones, and ended up at a dinner invitation we never expected.
It was an American-Japanese family we met during a morning workout. All of them training together—husband, wife, and both kids. That alone was inspiring.
They invited us over for dinner. A carnivore dinner.
No vegetables. No grains. Just salmon, Wagyu beef, and yogurt with raw honey for dessert.
Honestly? We went for the experience. And because they were kind, open, and welcoming.
The meat was incredible—high-quality Wagyu from Australia. But could we switch to full carnivore or keto?
No. And we don’t want to.
Why? Because nutrition isn’t just fuel. It’s connection, culture, and joy.
Some people thrive on strict diets. Others find freedom in balance. The key is knowing what works for you.
"Progress is not in enhancing what is, but in advancing toward what will be."

Why You Shouldn’t Eat Clean Every Day
Most people think eating clean 100% of the time is the key to health.
But what if I told you that’s a lie?
Strict eating isn’t just unsustainable—it can actually make you more stressed, more inflamed, and more prone to cravings.
In this week’s deep dive, Ketty explores:
✅ Why rigid diets backfire and how to build a flexible, long-term approach.
✅ How to avoid the “all-or-nothing” mindset that destroys consistency.
✅ The secret to eating in a way that fuels both performance and pleasure.
Because real health isn’t about restriction—it’s about freedom.
The Physical Edge
Unlocking the Power of the Hip Flexors
Eight years ago, I learned the hard way what happens when your body stops functioning optimally.
A serious hip flexor injury left me in pain, unable to move like I used to. Even now, after years of recovery, there are days I still feel it.
The hip flexors are some of the strongest muscles in the body—but also some of the most problematic.
When they’re too tight or weak, they can cause:
- Lower back pain
- Digestive issues
- Postural imbalances
That’s why I focus on keeping them strong and mobile:
🔥 Glute bridges & good mornings → To build basic strength.
🔥 Resistance band deadlifts with a stick → To mimic barbell movement when traveling.
🔥 Hip mobility drills → To keep the entire core, glutes, and legs functional.
A strong hip complex = a strong, pain-free body.
And that’s exactly what I teach in Physical Freedom Unlocked. It comes with 101 exercises to recalibrate and strengthen the body for the life you want.

The Habit-Locking Method
You know that eating well fuels your best self.
But how do you actually stick to it—without falling into old patterns?
Enter: Habit Stacking.
It’s a mental model that locks new habits into place by attaching them to something you already do.
How to Lock in Healthy Eating Habits:
✅ Anchor your meals to something consistent.
Example: “After my morning workout, I always have a protein-packed meal.”
✅ Pair it with an automatic action.
Example: “Every time I cook, I make extra portions for another meal during the week.”
✅ Use environment cues.
Example: “I keep healthy snacks at eye level in my fridge.”
Discipline fades. Systems keep you locked in.
The Inner Mentor
A week ago, I started a new meditation technique.
I call it The Inner Mentor.
Most people search for answers externally. They read books. Listen to experts. Ask for advice.
But what if the best guidance was already inside you?
Here’s how it works:
- Close your eyes. Breathe deeply. Settle in.
- Imagine your future self—the one who has already achieved what you desire or is years ahead of you and carries all that wisdom.
- Ask the first question that arises. Then give yourself an unfiltered answer in third person. Let it flow.
Your Inner Mentor isn’t clouded by fear, self-doubt, or external noise.
He (or she) is the voice of your highest self. The one who already knows the answer.
Try it next time you feel stuck. You might be surprised what comes through.

Experiment with One Change
You don’t need more information. You need more action.
This week, I challenge you to run an experiment.
- Pick one area of life—nutrition, movement, mindset.
- Make ONE change. Try a new food approach. Shift your training. Test a meditation technique.
- Observe what happens. Keep what works. Drop what doesn’t.
Growth isn’t about waiting for the perfect plan. It’s about testing, learning, and refining.
Reply and tell me: What’s your experiment this week?
I read every response.
That’s it for today.
Hope you enjoyed it (and learned something new).
As always, stay fit, stay active, and enjoy your life.
