You are the sum of the five people you spend the most time with. Hence, you become the company you keep. It’s not just a saying — it’s science!

Your social circle — the people you surround yourself with — has a massive impact on your physical and mental well-being. And also on your financial success.

Your social circle influences every aspect of your life.

But why is that?

Imagine this: you’re on a quest for greatness. You want to perform at your best at work and drive your business forward with vigor. You also know that your overall fitness level and holistic health are the foundation of this goal.

But you feel like something’s holding you back.

That something might just be your social circle. The friends, family, and acquaintances you spend the most time with. They can either lift you up or drag you down.

They influence your thoughts, behaviors, and even your goals.

Let’s take a closer look at the people in your life and level up your social circle to supercharge your journey.

What’s more important is that your social circle shapes your mindset, attitudes, and choices.

The people in your immediate environment, with whom you spend the most time, are likely to shape your perspectives and attitudes.

Ever noticed how you adopt the habits, values, and behaviors of those around you?

If you sit at lunch and your peers order steak you feel inhibited to order a healthy veggie dish. That’s peer power influence.

But if you surround yourself with like-minded go-getters who push you to be your best self — fit and healthy — you are more likely to adopt similar qualities.

Health creates Health, Wealth creates Wealth

Choose your social circle wisely. Consciously choosing who challenges you, supports your dreams, and ignites your personal growth journey is breaking the bonds of mediocrity.

With an open mind (and an open heart), their success rubs off on you.

If your parents didn’t raise you to be an active person, now is the perfect time to intentionally change that.

A diverse network opens doors to endless opportunities. When you connect with people who bring unique skills and perspectives to the table you can watch your own success soar.

Unique opportunities for learning and advancement miraculously appear.

You learn new skills, your perspective on the world changes, and you enrich your life in so many ways, which ultimately helps you to grow your business with less effort and ease.

  • Does your social circle align with your values and aspirations?
  • Do they share your vision of living a fitter healthier life and being successful in the long run?
  • Do they want to watch your dreams become reality?

How to Choose your Growth Tribe for Growth Vibes

Improving your fitness, health, and wealth requires you to surround yourself with successful people who support and encourage a healthy lifestyle. If your family doesn’t stand behind you or follow your tracks it’s not the end of the world.

Here are some steps you can take:

  1. Ruthlessly evaluate your current social circle — the people you spend the most time with.
    • Are they supportive of a healthy lifestyle?
    • Do they engage in activities that contribute to overall well-being, like eating a nutrient-rich diet, exercising regularly, and spending significant time in nature?
  2. Hunt down your idols who already lead the healthy and active lifestyle you aspire to lead. If they have a similar outlook on life, work, or business — even better.

    It’s important that they are positive and motivated and inspire you to reach new heights.

  3. Actively seek and build a supportive social network with others who share your fitness and health goals. This could be offline or online buddies who enjoy a good workout, or outdoor activities, or those who are knowledgeable and experienced about nutrition and mindfulness.

  4. Become a high-energy source and encourage your social circle to engage in healthy habits together. You teach what you learn to others and create a positive ripple effect creating healthier, wealthier individuals.

    For instance, we started early by inviting friends, cooking healthy nutritious meals for them, and showing them that you can eat healthy and yummy at the same time.

  5. Minimize time spent with people who — consciously or unconsciously — try to drown you. Who may have habits that are counterproductive to your fitness, health, and wealth goals?

    This doesn’t mean ending friendships or getting divorced, but being mindful of how certain influences impact your choices and behavior.

  6. Share what you learn so that your investment becomes an investment in others. Information about fitness, nutrition, and well-being has become a mass commodity. But your personal experience is valuable for your social circle.

    Together we’ve been on this path for more than three decades. We’ve tested so many of the modern myths and writings on the internet wrong. Can’t even count.

  7. Last but not least: create a home environment that supports healthy living, if possible. This could mean preparing healthy meals together, staying active by doing workouts or outdoor activities as a home (or company) team and holding each other accountable to prioritize rest and recovery. Think about getting off the screen and playing a board game together — like in the good old days.

    When we build a healthier “me”, we automatically contribute to creating a healthier environment. What am I saying, a healthier planet even.

Remember, the key is to be intentional about the people you surround yourself with. Create a supportive social circle that aligns with your fitness, health, and wealth goals.

By consciously curating your social environment, you take control of your destiny. Surround yourself with people who fuel your ambition and propel you forward.
