OPTIMIZE ENERGY—one framework
The “Winning Team”—an aligned relationship
When two people get into a relationship, it is critical that their values, beliefs, and future visions are in sync.
This alignment establishes a solid basis for the partnership and enables both persons to assist and inspire one another on their shared path.
Ours is to build a remote business by helping people to upgrade their quality of life through holistic fitness.
A shared future vision gives the partnership direction and purpose. It enables both partners to strive toward mutual goals and make decisions that are consistent with their values and beliefs. This generates a sense of harmony and oneness inside the partnership and helps in the minimization of disputes and misunderstandings.
We value freedom, health, and self-actualization. We believe that fitness, holistic health, and self-care are the foundations of a thriving business and life.
In addition to a common vision, both partners must have mutual understanding and respect for each other’s distinct qualities and strengths. Celebrating each other’s uniqueness and supporting each other’s growth and development helps to deepen and enhance the partners’ relationship.
From the very beginning, we believed that ours is not a co-dependent relationship—we don’t NEED one another to complete ourselves. (Not very Hollywood-like, I know) Instead, we choose each other—every day.
Furthermore, an aligned partnership requires open and honest communication.
Being able to openly share your thoughts and feelings with each other, and actively listen and respond to each other’s needs, helps to build trust and intimacy within the relationship.
It also allows both partners to work through challenges and conflicts in a healthy and constructive manner.
We are an Italian-German couple, and we have always seen communication as a major benefit. We learn from each other and strive to find a “common language”.
Let’s sum up again…
An aligned partnership is vital for a successful and satisfying relationship. A common goal, mutual understanding, and open communication may enable partners to collaborate to enhance each other’s individual and collective progress.
Remember that a relationship is more than simply finding someone to spend your life with; it is about finding someone who will help you become the greatest version of yourself. This will dramatically improve your own energy level.
BUILD STRENGTH—one exercise
Hanging Spinal Waves
(It takes only 3 min.)
The “Hanging Spinal Waves” is a simple yet effective movement exercise that can help to increase mobility in your spine and improve overall posture. Here’s how you can perform it:
Begin by standing with your feet shoulder-width apart, and your arms relaxed at your sides. Take a deep slow breath in, and as you exhale, slowly begin to bend forward from your waist—reaching your hands towards the ground.
Allow your head and neck to hang freely—like a puppet on a string—and allow your back to round and undulate in a wave-like motion.
(Side note: In yoga, this is also used in the warm-up sequence swaying your upper body freely from side to side.)
Feel the vertebrae in your spine moving one by one, as if each one is a separate link in a chain. Imagine the wave of movement starting at the base of your spine and flowing all the way up to the crown of your head.
Take several slow deep breaths, feeling the stretch in your back and the release of any tension.
When you’re ready, slowly roll back up to standing—vertebra by vertebra—as if you’re peeling an orange.
Repeat this spinal wave several times, allowing yourself to sink deeper into the movement with each repetition.
You’ll feel invigorated, and your spine will be more flexible, allowing for a more relaxed and upright posture.
Enjoy the sensation of the spinal wave, letting yourself be fully present at the moment and savoring the feeling of increased mobility and freedom in your spine.
How do you feel? Amazing, right?
THRIVE IN LIVE—one mindset
The Indiana Jones Mindset to Thrive in Life
Lately, I was asked about THE most important lesson from my adventures.
I had so many adventures that I couldn’t come up with only one.
I made it 10.
To give you a quick impression:
• Crossed the Alps on a mountain bike for 4 consecutive years
• Back-packed around the globe—18 countries in 365 days
• Dived in shipwrecks, cenotes, and with sharks
• Ascended Mouna Loa, Hawaii on a day hike
• Boarded an active volcano in Nicaragua
• and much more
My training, mindset, and insatiable curiosity always served me well to embrace every experience—good and bad.
Here are the 10 important lessons I’ve learned on my adventures:
- Embrace uncertainty: Adventure often involves stepping outside of your comfort zone and embracing uncertainty. This can be a valuable lesson in learning to adapt to new situations and overcome obstacles.
- Respect nature: Exploring new landscapes and environments can give you a deeper appreciation for the natural world and the importance of preserving it for future generations.
- Build resilience: Adventures often present challenges that require mental and physical resilience. Overcoming these challenges can help build resilience and increase confidence in your abilities.
- Emphasize the journey, not just the destination: Adventures are often about the experiences and memories you make along the way, rather than simply reaching the end goal.
- Cultivate a growth mindset: Taking on new challenges and learning new skills through adventure can help foster a growth mindset and a willingness to embrace change.
- Prioritize self-care: Adventure can be physically and mentally demanding, making it important to prioritize self-care and listen to your body.
- Learn to be resourceful: Adventure often requires being resourceful and finding creative solutions to problems, valuable skills that can be applied in all aspects of life.
- Build meaningful relationships: Adventures can provide opportunities to build meaningful relationships with like-minded individuals and create lasting bonds.
- Appreciate the present moment: Adventure can help you stay present and focused on the moment, rather than worrying about the future or dwelling on the past.
- Embrace simplicity: Adventures can often involve simplifying your life and focusing on what’s truly important, providing a valuable lesson in the value of living with less.
Let’s recap:
These lessons helped me navigate the ups and downs of life and approach challenges with a positive attitude, making it easier to achieve my goals and thrive in all aspects of life.
Overall it helped me to gain a greater sense of purpose and fulfillment in life.
